Celebration Storm Football

Chase is playing Pop Warner tackle football in the Tiny Mite division this year and is doing a fantastic job. He's working hard at practice 3 nights a week conditioning and learning the basics of football & the skills for his first position as a defensive tackle. We were hoping this would tire him out a bit, but it only seems to fuel his energy! I'll try to take some good video of his next game and make some sense out of what he's doing out there on the field. Time for me to get Football for Dummies!

First Days of School

The boys started 1st & 3rd grade this past Monday and Carly started the 2-days-a-week coop program at Community Presbyterian Church on Tuesday. I think we were all excited for school to start, to see our friends and to be busy again!

This was actually on the boys 3rd day of school!

Local Fishing

Justin had Owen over the other day and they decided that I should take them fishing. We drove over to Lake Evalyn about 1/2 mile down the road and they caught 7 fish within 3o minutes. Carly enjoyed seeing them as much as the boys enjoyed catching them...

But looking cute nonetheless!!!

3 Men & A Baby (Pool)

The Spring Park baby pool turned into the Spring Park man pool for an afternoon a couple weeks ago. We were enjoying a little get together with some friends when I saw all the men still in the baby pool, but no "babies" anywhere!

More Beach Pictures

I've been waiting to post more beach pictures until Terri sent me the ones she took, but that may never happen, so here's what you get. I didn't take that many since we were mostly in the condo (not that exciting) or down at the beach or the pool (camera + sand & water = not good). Anyhow, we had a great time just relaxing and being away from the house before the hustle & bustle of school came. We'll definitely plan something again for that time next summer.

Carly actually fell asleep on the red raft in the water for 2 hours!

Quick Picture from Indian Shores

It'll take me a little bit to get through our Indian Shores beach pictures, but I thought I'd quickly post one of my favorites from the trip... a group shot of us all eating at Hella's Greek Restaurant on the Sponge Docks in Tarpon Springs (along with our waiter) after a full day at Caladesi Island. More pictures to come!

Pancakes & Bubbles

My friend Erin called to say "someone" put soap into the fountain in their courtyard and invited us and some other friends to play in the bubbles and eat pancakes for breakfast. I hope my kids remember how much fun they got to have when they're older!!!
